The Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index is a comprehensive report that ranks the economic competitiveness of states using 15 equally weighted policy variables. Jonathan Williams will share results for 2021 from a "Red States, Blue States" perspective. The 14th edition finds that even through the pandemic, states with policies such as low or no income taxes and worker freedom are more economically competitive and better positioned for growth.
