The Council of State Chambers (COSC) is the national organization for state chamber CEOs and their executive leadership. The purpose of COSC is to promote cooperation among state chambers of commerce, strengthen existing state chambers, and promote the extensions of the state chamber of commerce movement throughout the country.

State Chambers Urge Congress to Protect America's Small Businesses

On March 24, 2020, 36 state chambers of commerce sent a letter to congressional leaders urging lawmakers to quickly pass bipartisan legislation that keeps our economy intact, protects our American way of life, and prevents the imminent shedding of millions of jobs. After the enactment of the CARES Act, COSC Chair Mark Wilson sent a second letter to congressional leaders on April 14, 2020, urging additional funding for America’s small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program.

Missouri Chamber Named 2019 State Chamber of The Year

The Council of State Chambers is pleased to announce that the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been named the 2019 State Chamber of the Year.
